Well it’s Wednesday! Happy Hump Day, y’all!
Someone was making herself very comfy on the bed this morning. Oh, to be a kitty cat!
I had a smoothie-in-a-bowl around 8:30 a.m. – there’s something satisfying about eating a smoothie with a spoon. My blend was a banana, a scoop of Protein One vanilla, about 1/2 C of almond milk, ice, vanilla, and cinnamon. I topped it with a spoonful of peanut butter (not pictured because it sunk to the bottom!) and some Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Granola. I fully intended to add some spinach to this smoothie, but I forgot!
Luke and I did weights today, and it was a fun mashup of arms and legs (and chest for him!). I was in a so-so mood upon arrival at Planet Fitness, but I immediately felt better once I started lifting … I really got my heart rate up.
At 5, I was snacky again, so I had the first part of my dinner – sauteed broccoli and zucchini with dipping sauces (yeah, yeah, I admit it … I have a problem with dipping sauces).
