Hello, hello! How are you feeling today? I’m doing alright. 🙂
I worked out for the first time in a LONG time today – Luke and I did arms, and it was *hard.* I’m used to lifting more weight, but since I stopped working out about 3 months ago plus 1 month in residential, I’m weak again. 😦 But I did enjoy my workout despite it being only an hour long (with Luke and me switching off machines).
I’m not too concerned though – patience is key when it comes to weightlifting, and I’m trying to be as patience as I can be and trust the process. I’m going to try eating less carbs/starches and upping my protein; sit-ups were HARD today because of my larger, weak-ass belly, and I’d like to get back to where I was muscle-wise (not necessarily lose weight, of course … I’m at a pretty ideal weight for my body as of now, and if anything, I’ll gain muscle weight eventually).
I’m also getting a new WordPress theme on Monday or Tuesday – I need to freshen up the site, and I’ve already fixed up my WordPress header, FB, and Twitter profiles to match the theme I’m going to buy, just for fun. So be prepared for a BIG change on my blog very very soon. 🙂
Here’s a preview:I’ll attempt to start logging my eats tomorrow, but we do need to go shopping, so there’s a chance that I’ll hold up until Monday …. I’m just not sure. I need to make do with what I have here, but I’d like more veggies, fruit, and proteins.
Alrighty, that’s all I have for tonight – I slept a good portion of the day catching up from jet lag, and it was suuuuper nice. 😉
