Decorating + Spring Cleaning + A Crazy Good Workout

HELLO there! How are you doing today?! Luke and I have been spring cleaning our apartment like crazy this weekend – seriously, we have so much stuff to store in my mom’s attic now! We’re going to decorate a little bit more too – that’s my favorite part of this endeavor.

I’m also back at my cutting diet – I had an indulgent weekend, so I need to get back on track.

Breakfast

Breakfast was 2 eggs with turkey sausage and strawberries. Easy peasy. Coffee to drink!

After breakfast, I hit up TJ Maxx and Ross Dress for Less for a few decorative items.

I’d like to add some flowers or floral wreaths to these decorative items to liven things up, so I’ll hit Hobby Lobby another day. 🙂

Ok, this is where my day gets a touch dicey – I fell into a deep bipolar depression around 12:00, so I didn’t take a picture of my lunch (I was in bed for about an hour and just couldn’t shake the depression). I’ll share what I ate anyway through words, not pictures.

Lunch

I had 1 C of broccoli, 1 C of carrots, and 1 C of cauliflower roasted and topped with a small drizzle of ranch dressing along with about 1/2 C of cottage cheese, raspberries, and a drizzle of honey. Another easy peasy meal.

Depressed and moody, I made hot mint green tea to drink around 1:45.

Snack

Around 3, I had a sliced carrot with hummus, salsa, and some light ranch.

I received two packages from Free People in the mail soon after my snack, and I gleefully opened them and tried on my goodies – one top was far too large, so I’m sending it back, but the little dress was AMAZING!

I’m going to order it in another color because I love it so much AND it’s a great sale price – it’s a little short for a windy day (I live in the windiest city in the USA, damn it!), but it covers my bum, and I can wear shorts or leggings underneath it. I’m wearing an XS, and I’d say that this runs a little big, so petites will be sized out, boo!

Workout

Luke and I went to the gym and did arms for an hour, from about 4 to 5 p.m. I look constipated in all of the pics he took of me since I’m working hard, but I’ll share a few:

Hot damn, I had a GREAT pump after this workout and my mood changed to a more positive one! 🙂 I’m going to make it a point to do the dreaded stair master tomorrow and see if I can’t get my calves and my booty in better shape.

Post Workout Snack

I needed some PROTEIN after getting my pump on, so I had some Boar’s Head ham and American cheese with some honey mustard sauce for dipping. YUM! Perfect post-workout snack, if you ask me. I ate this around 5.

I also made Ginger Tea and put it in my Wonder Woman Yeti … I drink a lot of water and tea throughout the day, and ginger tea was delicious! I’d like to make my own ginger tea – Luke’s father showed me how to process fresh ginger into a potent beverage, and I need to make it here at home.

Wow, my arms and shoulders look AWESOME in this picture … I’m looking the best I’ve ever had.

Dinner

I roasted my portioned out cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots yet again (1 C each) and tossed in a few cherry tomatoes. I drizzled them with some ranch.

While my veggies roasted, I broke out my usual kombucha around 6:35.

I also had some deer sausage with honey mustard and BBQ for dipping. Easy peasy.

All in all, I had a pretty good day despite the depressive episode. I was very “high” after lifting weights and could barely type anything out because I had such a big pump going, which is always good.

Tonight Luke let me order three sale items from Free People – the Jane Printed Romper in black, the Cross Your Heart Muscle in Gray, and the Sweet Trip Smocked Tube Top in Wisteria. I hope these all fit well, and I’ll review them on here once I get them. 🙂

I also cleaned out my underwear and workout clothes drawers like a maniac – it feels SO GOOD to have things organized and de-cluttered. Huzzah!

Alrighty, that’s my spiel for today. It got a little long-winded, but hey, that’s just me.

Hope you’ve had a lovely day!

Getting Warmer Out = A Happy Mandy + Adventures in Cutting 2

Howdy, howdy there! How are you doing today? Mood-wise, I’ve been doing SO WELL, and it’s been AMAZING. 🙂 I don’t want to jinx myself, but I’m thrilled that the weather is getting warmer. Warmer weather always equates to better moods with me. Speaking of moods, tomorrow is World Bipolar Day, and I’m writing a post to commemorate it … stay tuned!

Onto my eats for the day! I’m still in my cutting-phase, so you’ll see lots of protein today. I must say that I’m really enjoying logging my food into my Lose It app. I love seeing the breakdown of what I’m eating daily!

Breakfast

I woke up very groggy – I needed extra coffee to jump-start my day! I had a repeat of yesterday’s breakfast – three eggs and two pieces of turkey sausage with Pace salsa and chilies.

Total Protein: 31 grams

Total Calories: 356

Workout

I headed to the gym as usual and did my 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes walking at 4.0 mph. All in all, a good workout! Then I came back and took a much needed shower! Luke and I took a rest day from weights as he was tired from school and had to work a long shift tonight.

I put on some normal clothes today, huzzah! 🙂 My top/dress/Dolman/whatever-you-wanna-call-it is Anthropologie, and it’s PERFECT for 60 degree days like today. I also felt festive and put on some lipstick. 😉 I felt very cute!

Lunch

I roasted Brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper with S+P and garlic powder for lunch … I let them roast for a bit before I added 6 oz of chicken to the mix with some BBQ sauce. I topped the veggies with some hummus and salsa!

Total Protein: 63.4 grams

Total Calories: 572

This lunch was incredibly filling and DELISH! 🙂

Snacks

I had 10 pretzel pieces as a snack today along with a diet Coke. This wasn’t really a cutting-friendly snack, but hey, I wanted something crunchy and salty, and this fit the bill.

Protein: 2 grams

Calories: 110

I also had a 7 oz. opal apple with Tajin, yummy! Again, not exactly cutting-friendly because of the sugar, but it’s a healthy snack, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Protein: 0.5 grams

Calories: 103

The kitt lits were sound asleep after Luke headed to work … Calliope was asleep on the TV while Persephone and Caprica made themselves comfy on the bed.

Dinner

Dinner tonight was a reprise of lunch – we’re low on proteins, so BBQ chicken it was again! I baked 6 oz of chicken breast with BBQ sauce as well as some Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and carrots. Then I placed a small amount of herb-y lettuce salad on the bottom of my bowl (it was the last little bit I had in my container) and added my chicken and veg. I topped them with some salsa and a teeny, tiny squirt of honey mustard sauce, just to feel a little naughty. Sometimes one just has to be a little naughty. 😉 No worries, I logged it in my Lose It app.

Total Protein: 61.3 grams

Total Calories: 486

Total Protein for the Day: 158.1 grams

Total Calories for the Day (not taking into account those lost via exercise): 1,627

I think I’m doing well! I’ve really upped my protein game … I should count my other macros, but I think sticking to protein is good for now. 🙂

Hope you had a lovely day! I sure did!

Adventures in Dietary Cutting

Hello, hello! How are you doing today?

I’m starting my cutting diet today – that means tons of protein (about 150+ grams a day), no sugar, few carbs and fats. This will only last about a week or two, so no worries as I’m only looking to get down about 5 lbs of fat. I’m using the Lose It! App to track my protein intake, not really calories so much, but it’s fun to see, and it’s SO cool to see what I’m eating broken down into parts! Let’s see how I did today, shall we? 😉

Breakfast

I had three eggs with S+P, enchilada sauce, and chilies along with two turkey sausage patties … here’s the breakdown (I’m not counting the enchilada sauce or the chilies … there’s no need to be obsessive, and they’re not too many calories anyway):

– 3 eggs: 216 calories, 18 g protein

– 2 turkey sausage patties: 130 calories, 13 g protein

Total Protein: 31 grams, Total Calories: 346

Coffee with stevia and cashew milk to drink here, nothing new. I actually bought a new type of salted caramel creamer and tried it yesterday, but it was waaaay too sweet for me, so I’ll just give it to Luke. I’m set in my ways when it comes to cashew milk and stevia in my coffee, I suppose.

Workout #1

After breakfast, I headed to the gym and did the elliptical for 30 minutes and walked briskly for 15 minutes. I had a great little workout! 🙂 I’m so happy that I’ve decided to incorporate cardio into my daily routine as I think it truly does help with my bipolar disorder. Starting my day off with exercise does wonders for me, and my mood was very stable today.

Lunch

I *really* upped my protein game for lunch and baked some venison with veggies … I was HANGRY for lunch around noon, so I ate a lot more protein than usual, but hey, it was delicious.

– 10 oz. venison: 85.6 grams protein, 448 calories

– Honey Pecan BBQ Sauce: 40 calories

– 5 Brussels sprouts: 43 calories

– Broccoli, 1 C: 31 calories, 2.5 grams protein

– Carrots, 1 C: 52 calories

Total Protein: 88.1 grams, Total Calories: 614

While I was eating lunch, Caprica was playing with a catnip mouse that we bought the kitties at Walmart … they’re a HIT with the kitt lits … one was even in the bed with us this morning, ha!Around 1, my Abs2BFitness pants and Free People top (and new headband) came! Huzzah! I snapped a few silly pictures of my ass in the new gray shorts, so here ya go:

And here’s a slightly blurry pic of the army green capris …

They’re really quite cute and comfy pants … you can see why I’d like to lose some fat around my belly as it’s sticking out between my pants and my crop top (it’s not terrible at all and really not noticeable except to me, so don’t think I’m being overly dramatic here, but it’s just something that I’m working on). I’m going to be a repeat Abs2BFitness customer FOR SURE … I’m already plotting my next order, but until then, I’m going to enjoy these beauties to the FULLEST! 🙂

Snack

Around 3, I had my kombucha for the day – it’s my guilty pleasure, after all, and I just love it! I drank it in Luke’s Glenmorangie glass, just to be festive since I no longer drink alcohol, ha! Total calories: 50.

I also had half of a cucumber with a packet of sweet & spicy tuna fish …

Total Calories: 111, Total Protein: 16 grams.

Workout #2

Luke and I did arms today for about 40 minutes. I did 55 lbs on Preacher Curls, so I was pleased with myself. Luke said today that I’m looking better than I ever have, so that’s highly encouraging. 🙂 And I just LOVE my new little headband, it made me feel like Wonder Woman!

Dinner

Around 6, I decided it was time for dinner, so I roasted about 6 oz. of chicken breast with some BBQ sauce along with some red bell pepper. I made a nice herb-y salad with Honey Mustard Sauce and added my chicken and bell pepper on top.

– Chicken Breast, 6 oz: 280 calories, 52.8 grams protein

– BBQ Sauce in Honey Pecan: 40 calories

– Fresh herb salad:  35 calories, 3 grams protein

– Red Bell Peppers, 1 C: 46 calories, 1.5 grams protein

– Honey Mustard Sauce: 130 calories, 1 gram protein

Total Calories: 531, Total Protein: 57.3 g

This dinner was surely delicious! YUMMY! That Honey Mustard Sauce *really* made it and was totally worth the calories.

Total Calories for the Day: 1,652 (not taking into account my workouts)

Total Protein for the Day: 198.9 grams – HUZZAH!

Now I’m watching Expedition Unknown and am thinking about cleaning the apartment up a bit … a hot bath is also on my mind! Hope you had a FABULOUS day! 🙂

Jumpsuits + Mania

Howdy there! How are you doing today? I tried doing sit ups this morning, and man oh man, I was too sore to do them, so it was a rest day for my abs. I did several hundred sit ups yesterday, after all, so they needed to chill out today. I had quite the interesting and crazy day, so let’s begin with breakfast!

Breakfast

I had my usual three egg scramble around 8 this morning along with three slices of turkey bacon and two turkey sausages. Coffee with stevia and cashew milk to drink. This is my go-to breakfast at this point, y’all.

I had a banana with almond butter around 10 too. I get hungrier in the mornings now that I’m working out daily.

Lunch

I roasted some carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and eggplant with EVOO and S+P, and I ate them on a small bed of spinach with some roasted red pepper sauce and a Dr. Praeger’s veggie burger. A pretty straightforward lunch – veggies + a type of protein (we’re low on protein right now, so I reached for a veggie burger today).

In the early afternoon, I had MAJOR ANXIETY. I’m not sure if I was semi-manic plus had anxiety or not, but it certainly felt that way. I was zippy but too out-of-sorts to do anything productive. Soon enough, I calmed down after a few extra Gapabentin, and I was able to feel more like myself (until later, as you’ll soon see).

Luke was napping, and Calliope made herself very comfortable next to his leg! So stinkin’ cute!

Snack

Around 3, I had a mango with Tajin Seasoning and some Orange Cinnamon Tea from Seattle.

I was also needing some carbs, so I had some pretzels and hummus. 🙂 Yummy. Those tasted so DELIGHTFUL. I’m trying to watch my bread-y carb intake, but I needed some pretzels this afternoon.

Mental Health and Eating Disorder Discussion

Soon after my snack, I became MANIC AF, y’all. I CLEANED and CLEANED and CLEANED. Seriously, I got under the couch, table, bed, in the crevices, EVERYWHERE – just imagine cat hair flying around like crazy and me chasing it around with the vacuum.

AHHHH, mania can be FUN. But make no mistake, it’s a hellish type of fun, I assure you … you’re literally OUT OF CONTROL of your mind and are zippy, zippy, zippy … you feel like you can do ANYTHING, no limits … this has gotten me into trouble before though, so I try to keep my activities to deep cleaning and working out. (I also try not to drive while manic, so thankfully the gym is within walking distance of the apartment).

As I was taking out the trash in a most manic fashion (sans shoes and wearing only socks, a crop top, and joggers in 46 degree weather), the mailman came with my coveted package from Free People – I had ordered the Olympus Longline jumpsuit, and it finally came! I ordered an XS, and it fits PERFECTLY! Here’s a pic of me, sans makeup and looking crazy AF, in my new duds. HUZZAH!

I told ya I was getting more muscular around my middle, and it really shows in this pic – I’m coming to terms with it, and I’m realizing how *strong* my body was meant to be, not skinny and frail. I’m getting STRONGER, HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, and if you struggle with an eating disorder, YOU CAN TOO. I’ve struggled for nearly 18 years, and at 33 years old, I’m taking back my life and my sanity. It’s totally doable … and I’m just here to share my story and encourage others to do the same.

I’m REALLY looking forward to having bigger biceps and triceps, and I’m on my way! I just want to be bigger all around, muscular and looking like I could kick some ass and not be a shrimp. Truth be told, I felt so BEAUTIFUL in these pictures, even though my hair and makeup weren’t done at all. I felt powerful, ready to take on the world (but that’s also part of the mania).

Remember when I used to look like this about half a year ago?

I am no longer that girl, and I *never want to be that girl again.* I am a strong woman who is working on getting her gains and health back! Since that picture, I’d say I’ve put on about 20-23 lbs … I don’t weigh everyday anymore, so I’m not certain of my current weight, but I’d say it’s between around the high 120’s and the low 130’s.

Workout

(As a side note, the water in our apartment wasn’t turning on after I was done with the majority of my cleaning, so I ran down to the office … they said a pipe burst and that they were working on it, poop!)

Since the water was out and I couldn’t clean more without it, I decided to put my mania to good use and went to the gym – I did the elliptical for 30 minutes at breakneck speed and felt MUCH better. If you struggle with mania, I *highly* suggest the gym. It’s so therapeutic and gets out the zippy energy. I left the gym feeling amazing.

Dinner

After my workout, I wasn’t feeling too hungry at all, but I had a tangelo with Tajin.

I was feeling more snacky than hungry around 6:30, so I had some Boar’s Head turkey with cheddar cheese and red pepper dressing. Protein, delicious protein! 😉 Tea to drink.

For dessert around 7:15, I had a Brown Cow raspberry yogurt with fresh raspberries and honey. All I can say is DELICIOUS. I am a huge fan of Brown Cow’s consistency and taste.

And that, my friends, concludes my crazy day. Again, I hope I’m helping others out there with eating disordered behaviors by posting my meals every now and then, and I hope I’m helping people with bipolar disorder and/or panic disorder too. My little blog is a rather fun hobby, but I’m hoping that I’m ultimately helping others by posting on here. 🙂

Until next time,

~ Mandy

A Fashion Show + A Touch of Mania

Howdy, howdy! How are you doing today? My belly button is still very tender from being pierced, but my nose is doing well (other than when I forget I have a new piercing and made a swipe at it!). I’m lovin’ my new piercings, y’all!

Breakfast

I made a big ol’ cup of banana pumpkin oats this morning at 7 a.m. – 1/3 C of Quaker Oats with a banana, milk, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and pumpkin stirred in at the end. Topped with protein granola, honey, and a spoonful of PB. Talk about yummy! I just love my pumpkin banana oats, y’all. SO GOOD. Coffee with stevia and cashew milk to drink.

Snack

By 9:30, I needed a snack since I ate breakfast so early, so I settled on salted celery with hummus and Sesame Ginger dressing.

Lunch

Lunch was roasted broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red bell pepper with fiesta ranch and hummus.

I wanted something with protein and minerals, so I ate some leftover deer liver too.

I received some sale goodies from Free People and Anthropologie today, so I’ll share a pic of what I’m wearing today ~

I’m wearing the Free People We The People Fancy That Tee with the Anthropologie Chenille Cardigan in Black here … this damn cardigan is SO COMFORTABLE that it’s crazy! No wonder it sold out so quickly!

Here I’m wearing the Williamsburg Faux Suede Baseball Hat in Camel with the Antuanette Velvet Bolero

.. and here I’m wearing the versatile Cloud 9 Lace Maxi Top. I can wear this all year long with shorts or long pants. Suuuuuper cute!

I’m sending back two items which didn’t quite make the cut for me – the Gemma Printed Tunic (I cannot lift my arms up in this oddly-made garment, and it’s too short to be a tunic, IMO), and the Printed What a Babe Top (it was okay, but I have two other tops similar to this one which I like better because of longer torso length, so I’ll just get my money back on it).

I also ordered Free People’s Polka Tank in black and the Chambray Butterflies Midi Dress, so I’ll review those once they come. I’m also *considering* a new pair of All Birds Loungers in gray or black, but I’m unsure right now since I’ve ordered so much stuff …. think I’ll wait on those for a while as they’re always a good price, and All Birds never has sales.

Snack

I had my usual kombucha as a snack at 4 …

… and I had my usual apple with Tajin Seasoning around 5.

Dinner

I wasn’t particularly hungry for dinner, but I knew I needed to eat something, so I made a big mixed green salad with some dried cranberries, pecans, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red bell pepper topped with a (badly) fried egg and Pace Salsa. Sesame Ginger Dressing rounded it all out with a little S+P.

Mental Health

This morning, I was HYPER, y’all. Manic AF. I woke up at 5:45 a.m., I ran to the store by 7, I cleaned the house, I made food, I took a shower, all before 8 a.m. … mania is fun for me yet miserable. It’s a contradiction to describe. I get a shit ton done on my high, but I’m anxious, chatty, “zippy,” and jumpy. I finally calmed down around 10, thank goodness! I felt fine after that if not a little tired (I think my Xanax kicked in or something else).

Ok, so now I’m depressed as I’m typing this. I don’t know what happened, but I’m struggling with body image tonight. The struggle is real sometimes, y’all. I feel like this blog is stupid and that it does no good.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day,

~ Mandy

Working on Myself, for Myself, by Myself

Howdy, howdy! Happy Hump Day! How are you doing?

My digestive tract was *not* happy this morning – my lower belly was full of sharp pains and aches, and I was using the bathroom all night long! I wonder if the rich deer liver upset my tummy, but I ate it the night before last and was fine, so I’m not sure. I didn’t even really feel like coffee this morning, which means I *do not* feel well. I laid in bed for a while with my sleeping husband, and I tried to meditate away the pain. Meditation does help me when I’m hurting. Finally I got up and started moving around with this little mantra in my head:

I am indeed working hard on myself! I’m still around 122 lbs (I was 122.6 lbs this morning), and I’m working on building muscle mass and eating in a healthy way, non-eating disordered way. I’m working, working, working on myself, and it’s AMAZING to feel and see a difference in my whole persona.

Breakfast

I made pumpkin banana oatmeal for breakfast at 8:45 this morning in an attempt to soothe my intestines – 1/2 C of Quaker Oats, 1 C of cashew milk, chia seeds, hemp seeds, salt, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a banana with pumpkin stirred in at the end. I topped it with some honey, white chocolate and cranberry granola, and a spoonful of good ol’ runny organic PB.

I ended up eating ALL of my oatmeal – I was concerned about my tummy, so I ate very slowly, but turns out that I needed all the nourishment I could get this morning. Somehow the oatmeal did soothe my gut, so I’m happy I ate it – it was delicious and healing.

After breakfast, I ran to Walmart to buy some things to make deer backstrap stir fry. I bought bok choy, broccoli, carrots, onion, mushrooms, baby corn, kale, brown rice, and a few other goodies for it!

I started with the veggies …

… and then I sauteed the marinated deer! I added stir fry sauce at the end after I mixed the deer and veg together in my giant skillet, and I made rice in the rice cooker simultaneously. Talk about an easy, healthy, and delicious meal. I sure hope Luke likes it tonight! 😉

Lunch

I dug into one of my current obsessions to start lunch – OPAL APPLES! Y’all. Opal apples taste SO MUCH BETTER than honeycrisp … heck, they even rival my other favorite, envy apples. Honeycrisp apples don’t have much of a taste to me for some reason, but opal apples taste so clean, crisp, and have a delightful and juicy note of sweetness to them.

I felt pretty today for my psychiatrist appointment at 1:20, so I had Luke snap a pic of me with Persephone. Yes, I’m wearing my new Dolman from Anthropologie and JUST ADORE IT … more on that below, ha!

I snapped an impromptu fashion pic in the bathroom to show off my new clothing – I look a bit silly taking a picture in a mirror, but hey, I’m just being real here. I LOVE me some fashion, especially Free People and Anthropologie. I can’t believe I scored two Dolmans from Anthro during their 30% off sale – they were originally $78, and I scored them for just under $28 each. Perfect for wearing alone as a dress or with some pants! I was also wearing my James Avery Texas charm today. Nothing too fancy, but I felt pretty, which is important 🙂

Right before I left for my psychiatrist appointment, I had a Gingerade Kombucha to try and soothe my intestines further … they were starting to feel a little better at this point of the day, and a kombucha hit the spot for lunch!

I had nothing but good things to say at my appointment today – I’m not losing weight, I’m eating well, I’m not throwing up at all, and the Xanax is keeping my panic attacks at bay almost fully … my Rexulti and Latuda are also keeping my moods very stable, so I’m thankful! Dr. Jenkins was thrilled with my progress. I also received two compliments on my Dolman, and Brenda the receptionist remarked on how well I’m looking, so I must be doing something right. 😉

Upon arriving home, I found Luke playing the Xbox with a very smug Calliope sitting on top of it!

I made some cookies (simple Nestle walnut chocolate chip ones from Walmart that I picked up for $2.50) and planned on eating one or two, but my intestinal situation had flared back up, and I just didn’t want any at the time. Yuck, this intestinal shit sucks. 😦

Snack

Still feeling icky in my intestinal tract, I wanted fruit as a snack today around 3:00 as it would be light and easy on my system. I added a sprinkling of sugar to some red raspberries and black grapes (my last ones, boo) and enjoyed them with a giant mug of hot chai tea.

I also had a Chobani Flip yogurt in Peanut Butter Dream, thinking that the yogurt might help my poor system out! Plus I didn’t have much of a lunch – hello, apple and kombucha – so I needed a little more fortification for the afternoon. Man, that yogurt hit the spot! (I also took my afternoon Xanax around 3:30.)

Around 4:15, I had a handful of trail mix too!

Dinner

I started dinner off early with some raw carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower with S+P in some hummus and with some light Fiesta ranch.

And then I ended with some deer stir fry and rice. It was good but VERY filling. I think I ate too much of it as my stomach was a bit cramp-y afterwards – a smaller bowl would have sufficed, but what was done was done. (My picture is a bit dark and out of focus here, but that’s what went into my stomach!)

Alrighty, that’s all I’ve got for today! Here’s hoping you had a great one!

~ Mandy

Black Friday + An Arm Day

Howdy there! Are you enjoying Black Friday? I couldn’t resist and purchased three things on sale with 30% off from Anthropologie ~

Two Terry Dolman Dresses in XS

The Talah Eyelash Cardigan in XS I hope my purchases work out – I’m always on the lookout for cute clothes on sale, and the Dolman Dresses seem comfortable and cozy, and the Talah Eyelash Cardigan is totally my style.

Onto my EATS for the day:

Breakfast

I started my day off with a large Envy apple (I added some cinnamon) …

… and a few hours later, I had a coconut Siggi’s with fresh fruit and honey.

Lunch

Lunch was some steamed veggies – broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper – seasoned with some Lawry’s Seasoning, and I drizzled them with some Fiesta Ranch and added a dab of hummus.

Workout

We worked out arms today for about 45 minutes. 🙂 I’m looking forward to going more now that I’m feeling better. No makeup or hair done today either, but here are a few pics (one of me looking annoyed, but truly, I’m just lifting as hard as I can!) ~

Snack (s)

I had a half of a jalapeno cheddar bagel with honey mustard, Boar’s Head ham, and Boar’s Head Vermont cheddar as my snack today at 3:30.

Around 5, I had some Munchy Medley from United.

Dinner

I had some bacon ranch tuna with saltines, easy peasy.

I also had a banana with crunchy PB.

And my final meal of the day was a bowl of Progresso Light Baked Potato Soup with crackers. Green mint tea to drink.

Eating disorder be damned, I tell you, I was HUNGRY today, so I ATE.

I still need to gain some weight, and I’m working on that – I’d prefer it to be muscle weight, not fat, but if I gain a little fat, that’s okay too. Luke said today that I’m not looking nearly as bony as I was, so that’s a plus. 🙂

Hope you had a happy Black Friday!

~ Mandy
